> Sleep paralysis

Your body has come to be in a very relaxed state. In  such a relaxed state that you can experience it as being temporarily 'paralysed'.

Why?

- Due to this your energy body can be activated.
- Your energy body has the opportunity toloosen, to detach.
- This also provides the opportunity for your consciousness to shift,
  outside of the physical body.

Everyone is familiar with the sensation of, for example, a leg or an arm being 'asleep'.  Such a condition offers a good comparison with this temporary  'paralysis' state.
Because your physical body is in such an extreme state of 'rest', this causes it to feel 'paralysed'. Your energy body is active, and the focus has shifted from your physical, to your energy body. The focus of yourself has in fact shifted from the physical to the energy body.
As such, control has been handed over from your physical, to your energy body.
It is possible to bring your focus back to your physical body at any time

You can experience this 'paralysis' state consciously when you are in an 'awake' (so conscious) state at the time when this occurs.
It is also possible that you wake up while your body is in such a state.

Experiencing not being able to move your body can be a frightening experience, especially if you don't know the reason for this happening.
I want to again state, therefore, that - by focussing on your physical body - it is possible to stop this 'paralysis' state. You turn your attention back to your physical body and through this regain control over this body;  you concentrate on once more feeling the presence of your physical body, if need be by way of consciously moving one particular part of your body, like for example your finger, your leg, etc...

There are many reports from people who have experienced waking up, only to notice that they are not able to move.
If one is not familiar with the reason for this happening, it is very understandable that this can be very frightening to consciously experience.
Just like with other projection symptoms, this 'paralysis' which occurs during sleep is all too quicklyconsidered as something which points to a certain 'sleepingdisorder'.  It is a real shame that the true - in fact very natural - cause of the occurrance of this temporary 'paralysis' is not (yet) generally known/accepted!
All the more reason to highlight this by way of this site.
